In November 2020, the Alliance reached a milestone 250 members in 93 countries. Four further members have joined since then, bringing the total strength of the Alliance to 254 members.
2020 was a significant year for road safety, setting the agenda for the next decade and the mandate for road safety NGOs’ advocacy.
The Alliance’s campaign #CommitToAct supported NGOs to push for specific measurable commitments from their governments and to maintain accountability for those commitments. NGOs’ #CommitToAct campaigns were recognized by the prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award.
