Covid-19 Resources

We have gathered some useful resources relevant for road safety and mobility NGOs during the COVID-19 pandemic. These include infographics and resources that NGOs have sent us for engaging the community, information and capacity building resources from around the sector and related sectors, research and news articles.

WHO Europe has released a guide in English, French, German, and Russian on moving around during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Observatorio Criminológico de la Seguridad Vial

Tips and a public health video for those driving during the pandemic (in Spanish).

Georgia Alliance for Road Safety

Short videos in English and Georgian advising people how to stay safe on public transport

Training for Change

Movement and capacity building at grassroots level. 

Bank of Ideas

Useful guide for mobilizing during NGOs. Written for the drug rehabilitation movement but can be made applicable for road safety.

INDUSTRY RESOURCES

NACTO

The National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) has produced resources for implementing street design for pandemic response and recovery.

International Transport Forum (ITF)

ITF are tracking the response of countries in transport regulation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Transformative Urban Mobility Network (TUMI) 

Tumi have a range of resources including best practices from around the world, webinars sharing learnings from Shenzhen, China, practices from other disease outbreaks and more.

IRU

IRU is a road transport organization. It has collected resources for freight drivers and public transport organizations to deal with the crisis.

McMaster University

McMaster University have gathered research articles around COVID-19. Primarily health focused but rich source of research and evidence.
