KenyaAdvocacy for provision of pedestrian safety facilities along Outering road in Nairobi County. This road has been listed by the National Transport and Safety Authority as one of the three most dangerous roads in Nairobi County.

Avoid Accident

IndiaImplementation and awareness of speed limits in northern states of India with a focused initiative to integrate designated category of speed limits around schools in the law (which is missing) by involving legislatures.

IranSafe (not just safer) infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists including reduction of speed speeds are unsafe (e.g. higher than the posted speed limit).

SenegalSafe routes to school, including 30 km/h limits in school zones.

TogoA push for speed reduction around school zones, using data to advocate with the government for action.


UgandaSpeed reduction around school zones to reduce the rate of road deaths and injuries among school-age children in Uganda.


VariousAdvocacy towards policy change at a local (and where possible) national level within the next two years to raise awareness of the importance of
speed around school zones and in particular to advocate for reduced speed limits to 30 km/h
around schools.

VariousThis project Promoting safer cycling in Latin America aims to advocate for safe cycling, to create awareness in the population working with specific groups (delivery workers, youth and kids/families), and to create a bicycle advisory board in each country.

SADC Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety

VariousCreation of coalition to advocate with governments in southern Africa to ratify the African Road Safety Charter, to officially recognize the coalition member NGOs as road safety stakeholders and for governments to commit to the participation in the Head of State Road Safety Meeting scheduled for 2022.
