World Day of Remembrance 2016

The World Day of Remembrance is an official United Nations day, commemorated on the third Sunday of November each year to remember the millions of lives lost or hurt by traffic crashes. This year it will take place on Sunday 20 November 2016.

Here are a few things you can do to be involved:

  • Request the #WDR2016 poster in your language and with your logo:  worlddayofremembrance.org/request;
  • Are there memorials to road victims in your country? The World Day of Remembrance team is preparing a second Wall of Remembrance for WDR 2016. Please send photographs and details of your memorials, and photographs of crash victims who were not included on last year’s Wall of Remembrance, to the WDR Media Team at media@worlddayofremembrance.org;
  • Send your organizations planned events, through the event submission form HERE;
  • Check the new Official World Day of Remembrance Facebook page HERE. The previous page was compromised and therefore deleted by Facebook;
  • You can also find information about the World Day of Remembrance on the official WDR website www.worlddayofremembrance.org.

Looking forward to your contributions!
