<h1>Prince Michael International Road Safety Award</h1> <p>The Alliance is proud to be a 2017 recipient of the prestigious Prince Michael International Road Safety Award. The award was received for the Alliance Empowerment Program. </p>
<h1>IRF Road Safety Award</h1> <p>In 2017, at the IRF World Meeting, Lotte Brondum, the Alliance's Executive Director, was awarded an IRF Road Safety Award for “unstinting dedication to promoting road safety in the global NGO sector.”</p>
<h1> IRVA Light of Hope Award </h1> <p>The Alliance was awarded a 'Light of Hope' award from the Irish Road Victim Association (IRVA) at their World Day of Remembrance ceremony in 2017.</p>

Affiliations

<h1>Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030</h1> <p>Proclaimed in 2020 in the UN Resolution on Improving Global Road Safety, the second Decade of Action for Road Safety is the road map for the 2030 target to reduce road deaths and injuries by 50% by 2030.</p>

<h1>UN Road Safety Trust Fund</h1> <p>The UN Road Safety Trust Fund was launched in 2018 to finance and leverage funding for high-impact, best-practice road safety projects. Lotte Brondum, the Alliance's Executive Director, sits on the steering committee and advisory board for the fund.</p>

<h1>Star Rating for Schools</h1> <p>The Alliance is a lead partners on iRAP's Star Rating for Schools program, which assesses the safety of roads around school zones.</p>

<h1>FIA High Level Panel Advisory Board</h1> <p>The Alliance sits on the advisory board to the FIA High Level Panel</p>

<H1>Sustainable Mobility for All</H1> <p> The Alliance is a member of the Sum 4 All consortium. </p>
<h1>European Road Safety Charter</h1> <p>The Alliance is among more than 4,000 public and private entities that have committed to the European Road Safety Charter, led by the European Commission.</p>

FedEx Road Safety Award

The FedEx Road Safety Award recognizes the results-oriented commitment, involvement, and willingness to learn of NGO members of the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety. It recognizes the potential of road safety nongovernmental organizations and seeks to honor small, growing organizations that seize opportunities and amplify best practices in the road safety community.
