Alliance Learning needs assessment – Call for proposals – deadline 9 October 2015

Learning needs assessment

The Alliance will embark on a capacity building initiative with an overall goal of strengthening Alliance NGO member organizations to respond to the road safety crises with effective, measurable, and sustainable programs and activities in line with the Decade of Action for 2011–2020 (DoA) Global Plan and DoA goals.

The initiative will through training’s, information sharing and exchanges strengthen the Alliance NGO member organizations capacity to plan, fund, deliver and evaluate effective programmes that advocate for and advance road safety and the rights of road traffic injury victims, and to play a meaningful role in the global road safety agenda.

To inform the initiative and serve as a baseline for its implementation, we will conduct a learning needs assessment.

Goals of the learning needs assessment

1)      To understand the perceptions of Alliance member organizations regarding their capacity to plan, fund, deliver and evaluate their programmes.

2)      To inform a learning strategy that will:

  2. Leverage partnerships with technical experts and training institutions in order to take advantage of existing training opportunities and make optimal use of existing resources.

The proposal (max 2 pages) should include:

  • Outline of proposed methodology
  • Timeline and time estimates
  • Cost
  • Reference to previous work relevant to this assignment

Interested consultants should submit their proposal and CV to admin@roadsafetyngos.org before 9 October 2015.
