Beatrice Obwocha’s role includes website and social media management, publications, branding, communications project management, media engagement, and support for other communications aspects of the Alliance.
She has over 15 years’ experience in media, public relations and communication in the private and public sectors. She worked as a print journalist and digital editor for two major media houses in Kenya. She also worked as the head of communication with the County Government of Nakuru for five years, where her role included public relations, managing internal and external communications, media relations and crisis management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science from UNISA and is based in Nakuru, Kenya.
