FAQs

Can more than one member of my organization participate in the Assembly?

The General Assembly is open to all Alliance members of an organization to attend, regardless of the status. It is important to register in advance, which you can do here. However, only full members (not associate members) may vote and must assign one representative.

How do I update my NGO representative’s information?

If you would like to update your organization’s representative, you can do so here.

How do I know what type of member my organization is?

Want to know what member status your organization has? You can do it here, by visiting its profile on the Alliance website.

What voting system will be used?

We will use the Election Runner software to carry out the election of Alliance Board members. During the election you will receive an e-mail with your username and password to vote.

What happens if my NGO has changed its name?

Please log into your Alliance member account here and update your NGOs information, uploading supporting documents.

What would happen if my NGO was disestablished? Can I still vote as a full member?

If your NGO, which was a member of the Alliance, has been dissolved and a new NGO has been created to replace it, the latter will not automatically obtain membership status. Therefore, in order to become a member of the Alliance, your new organization must apply for membership.

I was an associate member for less than 3 years since establishment. After my NGOs 3 years anniversary, does my NGO automatically become a full member and have the right to vote?

No, in order to become a full member, you must resubmit your supporting documentation and your application will be evaluated. Please check the membership criteria here.
