This is My Street Global Week of Action

To coincide with the World Health Assembly in Geneva, FIA Foundation have organized a global week of action around the theme #ThisisMyStreet. 21 Alliance members are taking part, running petitions, social media campaigns, poster competitions, workshops and more. Argentina

Bien Argentino has been running workshops, a roadside awareness campaign, and a presentation to decision makers in Neuquen, Argentina.

Bangladesh

BRAC have been running art competitions in schools and inviting transport workers to sign a pledge.

Belarus

Belarusian Auto Moto Touring Club (BKA) held a poster competition and outdoor exhibition and collected petition signatures.

Benin

Alinagnon used the #ThisisMyStreet campaign to improve safety around a local school by reclaiming the sidewalks for a safer journey to and from school.

China

Safe Kids China have been working with schoolchildren.

India

Peoples Trust Jaipur and TRAX S Society ran activities with children and decision makers.

Iran

Road Safety Pioneers have run a roundtable with local authorities, collected signatures for a petition to be presented to the mayor, and distributed literature.

Kenya

Save the Children ran an event at a school in Nairobi.

Kyrgyzstan

Road Safety NGO Kyrgyzstan ran an event at a local school.

Malaysia

Safe Kids Malaysia ran a student art competition, petition, and social media campaign.

Mozambique

Amviro has been running a communication campaign, including production of tv and radio spots and distributing literature.

Nepal

Swatantatra Abhiyan Nepal ran road safety sessions in several schools with a presentation from the transit police.
