World Day of Remembrance 2025 was commemorated on 16 November 2025, around the world under the theme: Remember – Support – Act.

Global statements and commemorations

Video statement from Etienne Krug, Director of the Social Determinants of Health, WHO

It´s been 20 years already since the UN endorsed this special day, and it´s more important now than ever. World leaders have committed to halving death roads by 2030. At the midpoint of this Decade of Action for Road Safety, this still can be done.”
