#SaveKidsLives campaign in Cameroon and Bulgaria

The #SaveKidsLives campaign went live in Cameroon, with a road safety play staged at the Presbyterian Church Yard Up station in the city of Bamenda on 21 December 2014. The Cameroon Association for the Defence of victims of Accident (CADVA), a member organization of the Alliance organised the play, and the event was attended by over 2000 members of the Bamenda Upstation Presbyterian Church congregation and members of the public. About 500 signatures were collected in support of the campaign.
In Bulgaria, the Open Youth Institute for Research, Education and Development (iRED) has supported two activities in line with the #SaveKidsLives campaign. A Christmas concert was carried out by the children from Chitalishte “Bright day-2009” in the “Luben Karavelov” school located in the city of Vidin on 19 December 2014.

Also a traditional Bulgarian Christmas party was held by grown-ups on 26 December 2014 in the same city. Participants in both events showed slogans that support the campaign like “Save us and yourself!” and “The road is not the place to show muscles!”
