“Road Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility”: Sixth FIVCI Meeting

The Sixth FIVCI Meeting was held in Guatemala in March 2018 with the theme “road safety is everyone’s responsibility.” The meeting brought together 470 participants and 28 exhibitors. 

The meeting featured:

• A media tour
• Workshops and seminars
• The Sixth Meeting and Annual Assembly of the Ibero-American Federation of Associations of Victims against Road Violence (FICVI)
• An exchange with self-help organization “Padres en Duelo”
• A tribute to the victims in the Municipality of Mixco
• A visit to the Municipality of the City of Antigua Guatemala

The event closed with the Declaration of Guatemala and achieved one of its main objectives: to generate a commitment of joint and coordinated work among different public and private organizations of Guatemala, with the objective of increasing road safety in the country.
