NGOs are pivotal to achieving global road safety goals. They spotlight people’s daily journeys on dangerous streets, mobilize communities, use data and evidence to show what needs to be done, bring realities and solutions to decision-makers, and keep governments accountable for people’s right to be safe every day, regardless of their mode of transport.
During 2024, Mobility Snapshots were launched as part of the #CommitToAct Campaign, and in 2025, advocates worldwide used Mobility Snapshots during the United Nations Global Road Safety Week (UNGRSW). Through these efforts, our members have driven progress on government commitments, supported new and updated laws and regulations, and helped deliver street transformations.
