Alliance Welcomes New Members

The Alliance is excited to welcome three new members that joined us recently. 

  • The National Alliance for Road Safety (ANASEVI), Mexico, is a coalition of organizations and citizens, from across Mexico, that focuses on promoting road safety and sustainable mobility. Its Road Safety Observatory monitors progress towards the UN´s Decade of Action 2011-2020 goals and SDGs 3.6 and 11.2. ANASEVI creates a common ground between private sector, civil society, NGOs, academic leaders, and national, state, and local authorities. We promote evidence-based policies and programs that will accelerate Mexico’s progress towards sustainable mobility for all.
  • Yes We Can Alliance, Uganda, has a mission to advocate for the safety of people’s lives on the road, prevent road crashes, and to mitigate the effects and suffering caused by crashes in Uganda. It undertakes road safety awareness and sensitization in schools as a conscious effort to reduce the risk of a child using the road network being killed or seriously injured. The education focuses on best-practice road safety strategies to prevent serious injuries and death in spite of human fallibility.
  • International Traffic Medicine Association (ITMA), US, is a major contributor to traffic medicine and research. Its main activities are to organize International Congresses on Traffic Medicine and publish an disseminate research.Its held world traffic medicine congress has been held every other year since 1960 with particular focus on developing countries. The term traffic medicine embraces disciplines, techniques, and methods aimed at reducing the harm that traffic crashes inflict on human beings.
