Brake

Brake

Featured project
Brake has coordinated an annual Road Safety Week in the UK since 1997, and in New Zealand since 2012. These events highlight the devastation of road death and injury, and encourage everyone to take action to prevent this carnage. Each year thousands of schools, colleges, employers, community groups, authorities and emergency services take action during the Weeks to educate and campaign for safer streets.
Project Examples

Road Safety Week 2012

Launch of Road Safety Week 2012, on the theme of "Go 20" - slowing down to 20mph around homes, schools and town centres, and campaigning for 20mph to become the default speed limit in these areas.
